Jesus wants me for a......sunbeam teacher???!!!!! :)

Bryson and I have our official calling in our ward....we are the sunbeam teachers! It's been about a month and a half now and we LOVE it! I'll admit, it had it's challenges at first and we weren't sure we were ever going to get them to learn anything.  But now that we know them and their personalities, we've already developed several methods of keeping them interested and having a good time.  It's been great.  Last Sunday I took some pictures of Bryson playing one of the activity games with them... (gotta help them get their wiggles out!) :)

We have seven little cuties in our class and they sure keep us running, but it's been such a blessing so far and we can't wait to continue teaching and learning from them! :)  I'll try to get some better pictures sometime so you can see how cute they are!

ready...set....grow!

So Bryson and I have become Gardeners! :) This is the first time I've had a garden in my life, but after watching how loyal people in Montana and Wyoming are, Bryson and I thought we better get our act together and grow something! Bryson's dad helped dig out a spot in our yard and Bryson and I purchased some seeds.  It's been intense, but it's been a really good learning experience.  We love it!

We planted the seeds and babied them for a few weeks till they seemed capable of withstanding the treacherous Idaho weather. :)

Planting day! :)

Next came weeks and weeks of the three w's:  waiting, watering and weeding.

several healthy plants of tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, peas, corn, green beans and peppers. :)

We've already eaten a couple tomatoes and there's dozens waiting to turn red!

yum! :)

Buffalo, geysers and bears....oh my!

.....4th of July weekend it seemed that everyone was going out of town and we were feeling a bit left out.  So we decided to go out of town too! :)  We were able to go camping for the first time together....so fun! We drove up to Yellowstone and had a fun little friday and Saturday trip.  What a blast!

We got our tent all set up. So proud.

These flowers were GORGEOUS!!!!!

Bryson picked one for me. Not sure if that's allowed, but it was sweet nonetheless! :)

This was Bryson's first time seeing the pretty (and stinky) little geysers.

He was pretty impressed with them.

We even saw a bear! It almost ate Bryson, but I protected him.

cool log, and me being myself.

Buffalo!

So many unbelievably gorgeous views.

While we were in West Yellowstone, we went to the Playmill Theater and saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Bryson had never seen or heard the music from that show and I knew he would love it.  And he did. It was a hilarious, fun filled production that we enjoyed very much.

Italia continued....our journey to another world

Our last stop in Italy was the famous volcano destructed city of Pompeii.  It was one of the most interesting places I have ever been.  There was almost a peaceful feeling as you walked down the streets of this once glorious city.

After our day of exploration, we went back to Naples and went to the restaurant that Jenessa had recommended to us. Antonio & Antonio.  She was right- the food was INCREDIBLE. So delicious- we left that place so stuffed.

Fried zucchini.  Unlike any I have ever tasted

Mozzarella ball

Gnocchi. A potato pasta that is to die for!
And then we had pizza, which as I said before, we forgot to take pictures of because the second we saw it we just HAD to start eating it.  As Brian Regan would say, "How do I get that goodness in me??"

Our last beautiful sunset on the cruise!
